Bahan-bahan Ketupat :
- 250 gram beras
- Garam 1/3 sendok teh
- Daun pandan 3 lembar
- Air 6 liter untuk merebus
- Kulit ketupat secukupnya
Langkah Membuat Ketupat :
- Pertama-tama cuci bersih beras lalu tiriskan. Tambahkan garam, aduk rata. Sisihkan.
- Masukan beras kedalam kulit ketupat yang terbuat dari janur sebanyak 60% dari total volume kulit ketupat. Lakukan hingga beras habis.
- Masukan ketupat beras kedalam panci presto. Tuang air lalu tambahkan daun pandan. Tutup panci, masak diatas api besar hingga muncul uapnya.
- Setelah muncul uapnya, segera tutup katup pada penutup panci dan ubah api menjadi api sedang, masak selama 1 jam. (jika tidak mempunyai panci presto bisa menggunakan panci biasanya dan masak ketubat sampai 3 jam).
- Jika menggunakan panci presto, setelah ketupat matang jangan langsung dibuka karena panci bertekanan tinggi, maka akan menimbulkan efek ledakan bila panci langsung dibuka. Diamkan dulu sebentar, setelah agak dingin baru aman untuk dibuka. Tiriskan ketupat, dan gantung ketupat agar benar-benar kering.
